Carpet bag Mary Poppins bag William Morris tapestry weekend bag with leather handles and shoulder strap
This is a large weekend bag in the traditional style of a Mary Poppins bag, this one is made from a William Morris Persian blue tapestry fabric. This large travel bag features a twist bag lock on the front, handcrafted real leather handles a detachable shouldeer strap and a semi solid bag base with bag feet.
Inside this carpet bag is fully lined and features a large zip pocket, 2 slip pockets, an internal bag frame that pops open and snaps shut, a key clip and 2 D rings for the shoulder strap.
This bag has been made with lots of heavy duty interfacing and foam to create a strong and sturdy bag.
Measurements approx
36 cm ( 14" ) tall x 48 cm ( 19") across the base x 23 cm ( 9" ) deep base, as this bag has a spring frame, it will open out to 41 cm ( 16" ) x 20 cm ( 8" ). The leather handles are approx. 41 cm long. The detachable strap is approx. 80 cm long but can be made longer.
All bag hardware is in antique brass colour
