Carpet bag green purple wool tweed weekend travel bag Mary Poppins overnight bag
This large overnight carpet bag has been handcrafted from a beautiful lavender and mint Scottish wool tweed ( NOT Harris ), I have teamed this fabulous tweed with green leather carry handles and antique brass bag hardware, this is a timeless bag that will accompany you on many travels.
The bag is made with lots of structure for durability and strength and features a twist bag lock on the front, a semi solid bag frame with bag feet, an internal spring loaded bag frame as well as a detachable shoulder strap
Inside, this bag is fully lined in mulberry tree print linen and features 2 slip pockets, a large zipper pocket, a key clip and 2 x D rings for the detachable strap.
Measurements approx
36 cm ( 14" ) tall x 48 cm ( 19") across the base x 23 cm ( 9" ) deep base, as this bag has a spring frame, it will open out to 41 cm ( 16" )x 20 cm ( 8" ). The leather handles are approx. 41 cm long. The detachable strap is approx. 80 cm long but can be made longer.
