I love the bold use of black in contrast with the colour of the stoneware clay that I have used. This piece is the result of a desire to inject more colour into my work… a rainbow of coloured spots are outlined with black line work. The design is painstakingly hand-painted with 3 layers of Amaco Velvet underglaze!

Full description
A slab built stoneware bowl decorated on the outside only with 3 layers of hand-painted colourful spots in varying sizes with black outlines.
Handmade and therefore completely unique… the edge is a little wobbly which adds to its charm.
Finished with a glossy transparent glaze. Dishwasher and food safe.
Size approximately 80mm high, 160mm external diameter.
