Full description
A fabulous model of an otter created from woollen fibres. The fibres have been needle felted with a barbed felting needle to bind them together and shape the model as desired.
The otter measures approximately 21cm x 10cm as posed. He is brown in colour with a fawn coloured throat and chest. The upper surface of his tail is a darker brown colour. Small black acrylic half pearls have been used for his eyes and horse hair whiskers attached. The otter has been mounted on a rectangular wooden base (15cm x 10cm) which has been covered in artificial grass material. The legs are wired for strength and stability as is the tail, allowing it to be gently posed.
