Full description
Martha stands approximately 54cm tall.
Her body is made from calico with a wire armature inside so her arms and legs can move.
She has mohair hair.
I have hand painted her face, fingernails and shoes acrylic paint.
Her gorgeous skirt is made from original 1950’s cotton fabric from France.
I have hand embroidered her peasant blouse which I have made from a very old piece of cotton muslin from my Nana’s fabric stash…. Could be 1940’s could be 1950’s.
And her headscarf is from a piece of 1950’s cotton gingham.
I hand embroidered her little felt dolly bag
Oh and her earrings date from the 1960’s.
Martha is a one off piece, a collectible piece of art.
She can be moved into poses but only gentle play by an adult is advised, she is a piece of art not a toy.
I send Royal Mail Special Next Day delivery and that is included in the price….
