Full description

Sheep grazing beneath a tree. This picture has been made by needle felting strips of silk fabric to create the background blending the colours using wool fibres. The sheep and tree have been then been needle felted in place and the birds added using black thread. Using barbed needles to needle felt the picture eliminates the need for stitching as the barbed felting needles bind the fabric and fibres together. The needle felting also adds texture to the picture.

The picture size is approximately 4.5" x 2.5" and it has been mounted using an off white card mount and framed in a simple 6"x4" black frame. The frame has both a hanging hook and a prop stand on the reverse allowing it to be displayed either on the wall or a shelf.

Note: the frame is supplied glazed but the glass has been removed for photographs to avoid unwanted reflections.
