Full description
A baeutifully textured piece of needle felted textile art. A lone tree at sunrise has been made using strips of silk fabric and woollen fibres. No stitching has been used in the creation of this piece as the barbed felting needles bind the fabric and fibres together. The background has been made using silk fabric strips blended together using woollen fibres and the tree detail added to the surface. The birds are sewn on using black thread.
The picture size is approximately 4.5" x 2.5" and it has been mounted using an off white card mount and framed in a simple 6"x4" black frame. The frame has both a hanging hook and a prop stand on the reverse allowing it to be displayed either on the wall or a shelf.
Note: the frame is supplied glazed but the glass has been removed for photographs to avoid unwanted reflections.
