Garnet, the traditional January birthstone, is one of the oldest known gemstones.
It comes in various colours, each with a different name, and the ones I have used here are Hessonite Garnet, which comes in yellow-orange to orange-brown hues.
It is known as 'the cinnamon stone' and is thought to promote prosperity, health and happiness.
Citrine is the birthstone for November and Scorpio.
Citrine is thought to bring happiness and abundance, to absorb and ground all negative energy and replace it with positive energy.
Known as the 'merchant's stone', Citrine is believed to attract wealth and good fortune.
Nephrite Jade has been valued in China for over 7000 years as a symbol of wealth, power and virtue.
It was also thought to have protective and healing properties.

Full description
Each of these drop earrings features an 8mm Nephrite Jade heart and 8x5mm Citrine oval, bracketed by sparkly, faceted Hessonite Garnet and tiny 2mm copper beads.
The beads are threaded onto copper pins and hung from copper ear-wires.
The colour palette is one of very natural, 'mother earth' shades of russet, sage green, copper and pale yellow.
Hessonite Garnet is the type of Garnet that comes in a red- brown colour and is often referred to as 'the cinnamon stone'.
These ones are AAA grade, micro-faceted, have a lovely cognac colour and a beautiful sparkle.
I have highlighted them with tiny 2mm copper beads.
Jade comes in two forms, Nephrite and Jadeite.
These Jade hearts are Nephrite Jade, which is less expensive than Jadeite, but has been used in China for over 7000 years.
The Citrine ovals are a translucent pale lemon.
Garnet is the January birthstone, and Citrine is the November birthstone, so these sparkly earrings would be an excellent birthday present for those born in either month.
They would also make a lovely anniversary gift, thank you gift, or simply a well-earned treat for yourself.

These striking earrings measure approximately 1.35 inches (3.5cm), excluding the wires.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
