If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.

Full description
This is an original mounted painting of a magpie resting on a stone wall. I've kept the background quite bright and simple so the blacks, greys and blues of the bird stand out. The stones in the wall are of mixed size and there's a hint of graffiti. This acrylic painting has been created using professional quality acrylic paints and a mix of brushes, sponges and painting knives.
In many cultures the magpie is a symbol of good luck and now you can have your own wee bird in your home, all year round.
