Full description

A lovely country scene of sheep grazing beneath a tree. This needle felt picture is made using strips of silk fabric and woollen fibres needle felted onto a felt base. No stitching is required as the silk and wool is bound together by the needle felting. After creating the background, a tree and the sheep have been added. The birds in the sky have been stitched on using black thread.

An 8" x 6" double card mount in white and black and a simple black frame have been used to present the artwork. The reverse of the frame has both a hanging loop and a prop stand allowing it to be hung on the wall or stood on a shelf.

Please note: the picture is glazed but the glass has been removed for the photos to avoid unwanted reflections.
