A great duo to take shopping! Patchwork tote bag with a clip-in purse.
For the bag I used off cuts of furnishing weight cotton fabrics saved from other projects and carefully pieced together to make a new fabric. Faced inside at the top for a professional finish and lined with plain peach colour cotton. The loop of each handle measures about 36cm, are interlined with felt to make them more comfy and top stitched. Inside, I have inserted a keyring loop so that the purse can be clipped inside safely.
This bag measures approx 37cm x 33cm. The base has been squared off so that corners are boxed and this makes the base 10cm deep. Interlined at the base with a layer of felt zig-zag stitched into place.
The purse is made from fabric off cuts in a similar fashion, but the fabric has been backed with fusible fleece and the visible seams have been decoratively topstitched.
Like the bag, it is lined with peach cotton. It has a dark red zip across the top and a key ring loop at the side complete with lobster clasp. It measures 15cm x 11cm and could hold coins, cards, or other small items.
This item is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, while the outer packaging may be recycled.
