All my bags in this design are 'one-offs', in this example I used paeony & eucalyptus leaves from a friends garden. They were gathered in the autumn of 2023 and frozen until ready to use. As each set of fabric pieces are eco-printed separately, though achieving a balance of the positiioning and number of leaves, I still don't know what the end result will be until the pieces are unwrapped after boiling or steaming. I position my pattern pieces to optimise the best part of the print, using the best print for the front of the bag.
