This pendant is moulded directly from a vintage silver button which belonged to my Granny. I am inspired by vintage and antiques, found objects and all forms of sewing and craft.

A few years ago I inherited a sewing box from my Welsh granny Maggie. Inside was a chunky rectangular jar - Lyle's Golden Syrup from when they had to use glass packaging during rationing - full of vintage buttons, collected by the women in my family over decades. Pearl, metal, wood, leather, plastic and Bakealite, all of them beautiful and delightfully rattly and jingly.
This solid silver pendant is directly moulded from one of those vintage buttons.
Please note; the charm is supplied with a recycled sterling silver 20” curb chain, which may not be the same chain as is featured in the pictures.
Stamped “.999FS” for 99.9% purity fine silver.
Size -14mm (not including bail/jump ring.)
Your order will arrive in a small decorative gift/storage box made from recycled card and ribbon.
Please be aware; these pieces are completely handmade by me in my home workshop in Glasgow. Every single piece is different, even items cast from the same mould, and will therefore have small variations and imperfections which serve to make the item unique.
