Due to family commitments, Plum Porridge will be closed for the whole of December this year, which means that the last day I am able to accept orders in 2024 will be FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER.
If I find a piece of vintage embroidered linen that is past it's best, I salvage what I can from it and incorporate it into new items to be enjoyed every day.

Full description
This zipped purse is made using a piece of embroidery reclaimed from a vintage tablecloth and depicts a lady in a blue crinoline dress and bonnet in a lovely garden. It is edged at the bottom with pink scalloped tape and decorated with vintage buttons from my button box. The back is pink ditsy floral cotton fabric.
I backed both fabric with fusible quilter's wadding for extra body and quality feel. It is lined with plain cream poly/cotton.
Flat style with a white zip across the top which I have finished with a fabric tab to match the back. It is quite a large size, measuring about 23cm x 16cm.
This item is ready to ship. I use second class post in order to keep postage as low as possible, please get in touch if you need it posted first class. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper whilst I will use recycled outer packaging if possible.
