This Texel combed wool top has been hand dyed.
The Texel sheep is originally from the Netherlands, being brought over to the UK in the 1970's. The fleece is very good for Knitting and hand spinning as well as felt making

Price is per 100g (3.5 Oz) Braid - you will receive the braid in the photographs.
Dyeing fibres since 2006, I only use top quality commercial dyes to ensure good light & colour fastness. After setting the colours, they are well rinsed, and the fibres are then left to air dry slowly. The whole process can take 4-5 days.
