I'm not a fan of big huge white spaces to fill, and would probably loose interest in very large projects, but I was working on some polymer clay pieces - animals and other bits, and decided to turn them into a piece of artwork. I easily found some mini canvases, and had a lot of fun painting the backgrounds, it's surprised me what I've been able to fit into a small space to add interest (without overshadowing my clay pieces).

Thrilled to launch a collection of letterbox friendly art gifts, including this butterfly mini canvas.
Created using polymer clay and metallic watercolour paints this butterfly artwork will add a pop of summery colour to any home, and be ideal for a token gift.
Canvas measures 7cm by 7cm. Each is hand painted and individually cut and baked (polymer clay elements). The metallic elements give a shine and shimmer, and adding in a 3D clay feature brings this mixed media canvas to life.
