All my items are packaged and delivered in non-bleached Kraft paper/cardboard material, made from recycled content and recyclable, and are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (tracking number available upon request). An upgrade to Tracked 24 is for sale in my shop.

Full description
Ceramic catkins consisting of two stems (three catkins). The catkin flowers are individually sculpted in stoneware clay (40 in total!), fired, then painted in autumnal shades of underglaze, before being re-fired, threaded on to faux suede cord and tied to the wire stems. The catkins therefore have a lovely articulated movement when they are touched and bob gently in the breeze. They look lovely in fresh, dried or artificial flower arrangements and can be combined with my stained glass flowers to great effect; see my 'Autumn Days' bouquet for inspiration, or a ready-made gift.
The stems are approx. 36 cm from top to bottom. Each catkin is painted freehand to replicate the variation seen in nature; as such your stem will differ slightly from the photos shown here. The stems can be cut down to suit your vase with kitchen scissors and are suitable for vases/bottles of 14-18 cm. Florist's oasis, uncooked rice or sand can be used in your vase to hold the stem in place - use of such filler will also enable you to create different heights of the stems, without trimming.
Each stem comes carefully wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with an Eiderglass sticker; no invoices are included so all shop items can be sent as a gift direct to recipient, with a message on gift tag. Gift wrap available at checkout. Items are sent Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Please note, the stems will arrive with a bend towards the base (for postage), requiring just gentle pressure either side to straighten.
