These are unique, handmade, hardwearing organic sustainable Jute baskets. The Jute is grown by a family in the Brazilian Amazon - and the leather is supplied locally. They are handmade by me and are made to last years. Current colours are cream with a coloured stripe of light blue, pink or green. Two sizes at the moment medium and small. The medium measures approx 47 cm length x 27cm height opening 28cm and small 41cm length x 26cm height x opening 22cm. All handmade so vary slightly.

They have a weight to them, and this means they sit well on the shoulder. They can be loaded with a lot but this of course depends how much you decide you can carry and the size.

I love using mine for everyday things like purse, water bottle, hat, scarf, book etc and then add shopping as I go. Or they are great in the home to hold craft projects or I can also make larger or smaller with or without handles to store wood or other household items.

The uniqueness of these is that they are supporting small brazillian families, made by hand in the UK, strong, completely sustainable and will just return to the earth many years down the line when they have finished their life.
