Hello, my name is Jody and I’m the person behind LouLou Art.
I design and make handmade greeting cards, bookmarks and small pet-inspired gifts from my home studio in Bedfordshire, UK.
Creating portraits for my own pets led to commissions from strangers who enjoyed the style.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
I really enjoy drawing pet portraits of people's beloved furry family members!
These portraits are head to chest only.
I am happy to attempt any animal - but I am more experience in 'furry' animals.
When you order, please send me a clear photo of your pet by messaging me via my profile.
I 'paint' using my ipad (I do not use AI in my work) in a watercolour style, using a colourful colour pallet.
Each portrait will be lovingly focused on until it is finished, helping me to capture their likeness and personality.
A watermarked copy will be sent over by email for approval and if you would like to make minor changes.
If the requested changes are major, such as a change of the pose or drastic colour change then a charge will be added due to time (minimum of £5)- I will let you know if this is the case. If this is agreed, I will add another listing for you, of the additional cost, which will need to be paid before the image is amended.
This is a print only, no frame is provided.
The print will measure 8 x 10" and there are two options for printing, one is from my own printer (the images pictured in this listing are from my printer) or the 2nd option; from a professional printer at an additional price.
Delivery:
Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to make the portrait.
All work is hand drawn by me on my ipad. All work I draw is used to advertise my work and store, I will assume acceptance of this when you order from me - unless you state otherwise.
