The first of my mini art range. It is only 11cm square and 2cm deep, so it’s a tiny chunky mosaic but still intricately cut.
This spring I saw a few Forsythia branches peering over a fence on a gloomy day. They are one of the first blooms and brightened my day. I think the cool grey backgrounds really sets off the yellow tones. I need this plant in my life!

Full description
This mini, original floral art is created in mosaic and features stylized Forsythia stems in a grey background. This piece has light grey grout and a modern feel. It can be hung on the wall or be freestanding on a shelf with your favourite things.
I use beautiful Winckelmans tiles which are matt ceramic and come in soft muted tones. I hand cut each piece of tessera to create intricate images inspired by nature. The mosaic is mounted on a wooden canvas and the sides are part tiled to frame the plaque and give depth and is complete with hanging wire.
Dimensions: 11cm x 11cm x 2cm
Due to the wooden frame, this art is suitable for display indoors only.
Each wall plaque is one of a kind but I am able to make more in a similar design and colour palette on request. I am also open to commission, just contact me for a chat.
