A few thousand years ago, there were around 150 islands that formed the 'Lost Somerset' archipelago, mostly strewn across the Somerset Levels, stretching all the way from Puriton, near Bridgwater, eastwards to Street. I saw this discovery as an invitation to visit the Isle of Avalon AKA Glastonbury Tor. Myth and Magic seem to go hand in hand with islands and as you may know, Avalon is linked to King Arthur and Merlin
In 2017 I set off on my most ambitious Creative Adventure to date. Alongside working part-time for an arts organisation, I decided that I would explore one UK island a month and then create artwork in response to that island in whatever medium I thought would be a good fit.

Full description
A myriorama is a set of cards that can be arranged in any order to form different scenes. This set has six illustrated cards, plus two blanks to add your own part to the story, which gives you 720 possible permutations (or 40320 with eight cards!), plenty of scope for creative writing prompts and storytelling games.
Tap into your imagination and see where the story takes you. Who are the characters? What’s through the portal? What messages do they have for you? The possibilities are endless. Go on your own Creative Adventure...Where will it take you?
Each card measures 7cm x 15cm - Use the cards to create a magical landscape spanning up to 448cm.
