Full description
This young girl is being greeted by her two kittens, after coming home from school, in her nice straw boater with its navy band and bow.
Her name is Tessa and she is dressed in her summer uniform of a marigold coloured waist skirt with straps and buttons down the front and a navy, sleeveless top with a white collar. She is possibly just starting her summer holidays when she can play with her pets all they will let her, for, as you know, cats like their own company sometimes.
I crocheted her and these two felines in Schachenmayr Catania cotton from an Amigurumi pattern by CAROcreated, available on Ravelry. Only her hat (and of course the cats ) are removable due to the way she is constructed. She comes complete with a metal stand as shown and with it measures 16” tall, ready to be put on display as an example of a truly hand-crafted doll which has taken many hours to complete.
