Dorset button making is an old craft that has been revived I am trying to make sure that it is not forgotten again.

Full description
I have made this Dorset Button using a green cotton thread on a plastic ring which measures approx. 3.5cm (1.25”)
I have then embroidered French knot flowers using two shades of blue and yellow.
There is a brooch bar with a security catch sewn firmly onto the back.
It is a very pretty brooch that is truly one of a kind.
It would make a pretty gift.
