Full description
I’ve used underglazes to decorate this stoneware ceramic dish which is a creative, celebration of the beautiful trunks of birch trees against a turquoise sky. I-make all my pottery from scratch in the studio at the bottom of my garden and actually walk past a large white birch in my way there! I love how the bark peels off to reveal new colours beneath!
The dish makes a lovely decorative statement piece but can also be used as functional ware as it is oven and dishwasher proof.
The shallow dish measures about 23cm across and will be sent out well wrapped in recycled/recyclable materials.
