I have always been interested in embroidery and textiles. I gained a qualification at school in Creative Embroidery.
As I got older and had children I would make them dressing up outfits and I also made them their own personalised Christmas stocking. They are now adults but still insist on getting out their handmade stocking every year to put on display (and hopefully, with luck Father Christmas will leave them a few treats in there - Yes they haven't grown up that much!!!).
As life got hectic and busy I put my creativity on hold but during lockdown found a renewed interest in sewing again. It takes many hours to make an item but I love the look of joy on people’s faces when I make and give them one of my creations.
I have started to sell my items at local craft fairs and markets with huge success and would now like to offer them to a wider market.
