I was inspired by historical cave paintings and prehistoric landscapes as well as desert frontiers maybe in the Americas or North Africa. It is an imagined landscape painted intuitively so you can imprint whatever thoughts and feelings it brings to you.

Full description
An original acrylic painting on paper complete in white A4 frame. Signed by the artist and varnished. Total size including the A4 frame is 31cm x 22.5cm (12 x 9 inches). The painting itself within its mount is 18.5 x 13.5 cm (7.25 x 5.25 inches).
Made using blade painting techniques in desert colours to create an empty and mysterious landscape. The colours are bright and vivid cadmium oranges and yellows blending together beautifully with ochres and burnt umbers and siennas.
