Full description
This Hand Embroidered African Elephant Brooch reflects the majestic Elephants I saw on safari, recently in South Africa. The brooch uses the colours of the South African flag……green, blue, red, gold and black. An Elephant button is sewn onto circles of green and grey felt. Hand embroidered Lazy Daisy and Fly Stitches in red and blue with golden, red and blue seed beads encircle the grey Elephant. The brooch is edged in black Blanket Stitches.
This brooch is 2 inches or 5 cms in diameter……a nice wearable size, for any jumper, jacket, coat, blouse or jacket. A metal brooch pin with a safety catch is sewn on the back for secure wear.
This brooch is gift wrapped in an organza bag, decorated with a button. A protective bag to keep the brooch in when not worn. A perfect gift for a birthday, thank you, retirement or birthday gift…….especially for Elephant lovers …..or a gift for yourself. It’s light to post, so an ideal letterbox gift….
