I was asked by a good friend if I could create a bracelet or a ring to commemorate the passing of their pet, and which would include some of the ashes.

I offered several options and we agreed that I would make a cabochon in fused glass that would incorporate the ashes and also my friend's favourite colours. This cabochon would form the centrepiece of a bracelet of semi-precious gemstones and the piece would be finished with sterling silver findings.

The image shows the prototype I created to show how that idea could look as a finished piece and we had quite a discussion about colours, measurements and fit before I proceeded to create the final design.

For your unique design we will begin by talking about what is important to you, things like whether or not you would like the ashes to be visible, what colours you have in mind, whether you would prefer a smooth or a tactile surface, and how you would like to wear the memorial.

My passion is to give you something that is beautiful and unique, and that will help prolong the memory of your pet whilst also keeping them close.

I will only begin work on the final piece once you are completely happy with the design and from that point it will take about seven days to produce your piece.
