HISTORY

The Triumph Spitfire was originally devised by Standard-Triumph to compete in the small sports car market that had opened up with the introduction of the Austin-Healey Sprite and produced from 1962-1980. The 1500 was the last model to be produced that replaced the Mk4 with a larger engine from 1296cc to 1493cc giving it a top speed of 100mph and a 0-62mph of 13.2seconds.

(We photograph and design the illustrations we use on our products. Any trade marks, or names used are for descriptive purposes only and DO NOT imply any connection with the companies involved and we have no intention of impugning their brand.)
