Full description
This is a hand-sewn Maid doll Tea Cosy to enrich your tea time.
Her dress acts as a Tea cosy, which is made with 4 pieces of fabric, forming a square base, that fits over the teapot. I used 4 layers of textiles, including wadding, to keep your teapot hot for long a time.
The maid is dressed in a white hat and apron, on which I embroidered leaves that matches her dress. The hat and apron have been sewn on to her body, so they won’t come off.
She has a plaited hairstyle, that matches a colour with her dress and she looks beautiful from all sides.
I didn’t embroider her face, on purpose, as I hope the owner will imagine her features, from time to time, when they look at her.
This Maid doll Tea Cosy is suitable for a 4 cups sized teapot or smaller.
I hope she will become your good tea-time companion for long time.

I used 4 layers of textile From the surface, Cotton fabric, Cotton calico (to give extra thickness), Polyester wadding and Linen. The wadding and the linen are quilted.

4 cup teapot or smaller
The maximum length from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle should be less than 24cm
I'm using a tea pot of size 14cm tall and 14cm wide 23cm from the tip of the spout, 58cm circumference.
