HISTORY.

The Jaguar Mk2 was a fast mid sized luxury saloon that was manufactured from 1959 to 1969 with a choice of three six cylinder engine sizes 2.4, 3.4 and 3.8. The 3.4 version is sometimes overlooked as being in the shadow of the 3.8S version with the E-type's engine so beloved by criminals and TV producers of the 1960s. The Mk2 also suffered from the policy of badge engineering with the Daimler 2.5 that had a redesigned radiator and utilised their own 2.5 V8 engine.
