I chose colours that made me think of a Summer sky and warm shifting sand under my feet. I made this picture on a January day hibernating in our warm studio, whilst remembering and planning more, slow, sunny, sandy, days on the beach. The felt is beautifully tactile, the frame is washed with a matt cream paint to add to the beach find feel.
