I found applique shapes for this scarecrow and I just played around with leaf shapes and the design evolved from there. Enjoyed making this, even though it was hundreds of hours hand quilting.

Full description
This is a hand quilted childs quilt that I have designed myself, I have appliqued a scarecrow with autumn leaves falling all around him with pumpkins at one side of him and a goose at the other. all on a white background with a flowery border and I have finished off with a prairie point edge. Tha backing is a lovely sunny yellow cotton fabric with little scarcrows printed on it.
