Welcome to my shop!
Here I sell art prints of my original drawings and paintings and also hand embroideries.
I love creating, whether it's on paper or fabric and I'm inspired by many things, especially nature. I love small details and the meditative process of creating intricate details at a slow pace.
I've always been fascinated by butterflies and moths. The many shapes, patterns and colours they have. How delicate they are and the symmetry of their wings.
This is a butterfly from my imagination. I love butterflies and I love blue and green-so I combined the two! I love filling space with lines, dots and patterns, so creating this artwork was very satisfying.
I created this butterfly using watercolour and gouache paint, posca pens and made the highlights with gold metallic pen. I have added the gold highlights by hand to the prints as the printing process takes away the gold shine.
The original artwork was slightly smaller, I decided to enlarge to an A4 size as it will be easier to frame at this size.
