I love the idea of moving jewellery and I had fun creating this piece. This circular sterling silver pendant represents a silver sky, with a reflective hammered copper planet and stamped stars. The little rocket has been made using silver wire and sheet and granulated silver balls. It can be manually moved across the sky by guiding it along its path with your finger from the back of the pendant. It can then be rotated to fly back again. Don't expect it to move fast- it's not a real rocket! The pendant measures approximately 3.7cm in diameter and hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain threaded through a hidden sterling silver tube bail on the back of the pendant. The pendant will be presented in a black cardboard box as shown in the photograph. This would make a perfect gift for anyone who likes to have fun with jewellery, or perhaps has been reaching for the stars!
