I love being by the beach, and am fascinated by these temporary stone sculptures that you often see dotted around. I love using the different fabrics to create the varying textures of the stones.

Full description
Using a selection of fabric and felt to create a series of stacked stones, these have been attached using free motion embroidery. The blue fabric is used to create the idea of the sea and has been attached using a fancy stitch to represent waves.
The hoop measures 21cm and can be displayed by being stood or can be hung if a loop is added.
