Wetfelting is a fabulous medium to work in - I love that I am creating this marvellous textile using the same ancient techniques which provided armour for Greek and Roman soldiers!
I love finding different uses for the felt - these needle cases are just so functional - and pretty!!

Full description

A sweet needle case (or needle book) to keep pins and needles safe and secure.

The handmade wet felted cover of rust and orange is embellished with upcycled sari silk fabric and silk fibres. The inner wool felt pages are firmly secured at the spine with toning lambswool, and wrapped with a handmade lambswool cord for closure, or to tie your scissors onto!

The ideal gift for the sewer.

The closed needle case measures 8 x 8 cm

I make these in batches from one (unrepeatable) sheet of handmade felt, so there will be some variation between each case.
