Recently I asked for ideas of what I would make next and got a few suggestions for teacups so this was the design I arrived at.
This listing is for the teacups shown at the top of the main photos - those without steam, I have another listing for those with steam.
These fun little teacups would be great to hang in any window whether it is in full sunlight or not.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground to remove any sharp edges, wash, fold and soldered together and then washed again. I have used scalloped copper foil on the teacup lip to add a decorative feature. Two rings and a length of fishing line have been attached for hanging purposes.
These teacups measure 12.5 cms wide by 7.5 cms high.
I have three teacups available in;
- white and pink
- purple and pink - sold
- turquoise and lime green.
You will be asked to specify which teacup would like when adding to the basket.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang as soon as received but please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
This will be posted in a letter box sized box so you don't need to be home when the postman makes delivery and I normally post the following working day.
