Full description
An elegant spoon with a flat shallow bowl, perfect for serving tiny petits fours or sweetmeats. It has an 'Albany' pattern handle and is probably Victorian. I've stamped it with 'petit four' and tiny hearts, and around the edge it reads A TINY SLICE OF HAPPINESS with more tiny hearts.
This would make a nice little gift for a wedding or anniversary or a special treat for a foodie you know - maybe give it together with a selection of tiny pastries?
This is a vintage (or probably antique) spoon so it does show signs of age and wear although it's in generally nice condition. The black in the letters is water-based acrylic ink (not dirt or tarnish or Sharpie marker). Hand wash with care.
Size matters? This is a small spoon, teaspoon sized, only just over 13cm.
