The journal Oceans and Coastal Management (online 11/11/2022) predict sea levels around the English coast will rise in excess of thirty-five centimetres by 2050 with 'lowland areas being particularly vulnerable'. Consequently the Norfolk Broads and surrounding areas are likely to be permanently submerged beneath the sea unless drastic action is taken to halt global warming.

Original oil painting on canvas, size 76 cm x 60 cm approx. The canvas is stretched around a two inch heavy wooden frame and supplied ready to hang with D rings and cord fitted. 'Norfolk Broads' Sunset' has been exhibited around the country as part of a series of work highlighting the concerning issue of global warming and subsequent rising sea levels. Supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity.
