Make your handmade earrings stand out from the crowd with a pair of my mini, gold filled, fish hook style ear wires (sold in pairs).
These simple, dainty ear wires are hand forged using 0.8mm (20 gauge) 14 carat gold filled wire (scroll down for more info about gold fill).
The wires are then tumbled in a barrel polisher for optimum strength and shine, all ready for you to use in your own jewellery creations.
You can purchase just a single pair of wires or you can bulk buy in sets of 5 or 10 pairs at a discounted rate.

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
"Gold filled" (or "rolled gold") comprises of a layer of pure 14 carat gold which is permanently bonded to a base metal (usually brass). By law, the layer of gold must be a minimum of 1/20th (or 5%) of the weight of the item. Gold fill is very hard wearing and will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate, under normal wear. It is therefore commonly used as an economical alternative to pure gold.
