Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

Full description
This is an original mixed media artwork which I created in 2014.
It is based on photographs I took at a favourite place in the garden of the National Trust property Calke Abbey, Derbyshire.
The artwork measures approx. 12 inches x 7.5 inches. There is a small white border around the drawing which measures approx. 04 inches where the artwork was taped to the drawing board.
This artwork will come to you unmounted and unframed.
I created the artwork using a mixture of materials including Indian and Acrylic ink applied with brush, dip pen and airbrush. There is also some gouache and some gold ink which I applied using a dip pen. The artwork is created on heavyweight watercolour paper.
I have signed the painting on the back, along with the title and date of creation. I will also supply a small Certificate of Authenticity.
I will send the artwork out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Signed For delivery service.
Any additional items purchased at the same time will be sent at no extra cost.
