Sustainability - I wanted to make good use of my offcuts. I had already used lots of beautiful scraps of fabric to make a crazy patchwork quilted fabric for some stuffed hanging hearts. I carefully cut as many of the bigger hearts as I could from the quilted panel, and had a piece left over just big enough for this little one.
