Full description
These hand painted fishy earrings are made with surgical steel hooks. The porcelain clay is rolled thinly then handpainted, embossed with fabrics or linocuts, cut into shape, then bisque fired, glazed to the highlight the design then fired again giving each earring subtle variations in colour.

Although I sell many handmade items, the tipsy moth pottery shop is primarily for the purpose of funding pottery equipment and supplies to the goal of one day having a completely sustainable carbon neutral pottery business. For that purpose, I make things out of the huge stash of craft supplies I have accumulated and been given over the years, in the hope of not wasting a thing!
