Full description
A handmade angel wall piece.
Stoneware clay sculpted and incised with mark making tools to create surface decoration. Painted with underglaze colours and fired to 1160 degrees centigrade.
Once fired the piece is gilded with a gold coloured metal leaf and painted with a protective lacquer. A wire hanging arrangement is fired in to the reverse so the finished sculpture can hang simply from a nail in the wall.
Serene and noble.
