I was chasing a good way to print a repeat pattern on fabric. And I always liked tea towels because I get them as souvenirs at the places I visit. It's a good gift to remember a place or a moment, and I hang it on walls instead of using in the kitchen. So I wanted one with my prints on it, to be as special as the ones I get for myself, hopefully for people who like to use it the same way, but not necessarily.

Funny story: I order samples to see how it would look before the whole batch. I amended it and ordered it all. When I got it, the fabric colour wasn't as cream as I wanted so I dyed it with coffee! To darken the background a bit more since it was too white.. used vinegar to fix the dye and rinsed. All that in December. So my flat had several wet tea towels freshly washed hanging all around, during Christmas and New Years! Took a while but it all dried out and I could wrap it with belly bands and store it in a safe place hahah!
