Where skulls and tropical magic collide • Illustrated patterns printed on paper and fabric • Mystical pattern designs for home decor and accessories

Hi there! Im Karen Mattiazzo a graphic and surface pattern designer. I've been a graphic designer for more than 12 years in São Paulo, Brazil. Moved to England and started creating illustrated collections to print products of all sorts.

My favourite theme to illustrate is mystical things that evoke a magical feel or a tropical haven with a lot of motifs based on nature, crystals and skulls while using mostly teal tones. You can find three collections I printed on products that represent Full Mistica: Monstera Skulls, Crystals and Leaves and Tropical Magic.

My work is small for now as an independent artist. The shop started with art prints, clear stickers, tea towels and fabric pouches, and is moving into other fabric accessories (new bandanas and scarves). I also chase companies to license my prints or commission me to design your own motifs and turn into nice repeat patterns, for big or small brands to print on their products or brand materials.
