My collection started as a child with an old button box and some vintage embroidery threads given to me by my late grandmother. Over the years I have collected many vintage and retro items (note I only cut into pieces that are too damaged or marked to be used in their original form) as well as a whole sewing room full of bits and pieces.
I decided I would use some of this collection to create curated boxes for the newly re-discovered art of slow stitching. Get yourself a cup of tea, and relax with a needle and thread.

Full description
A stunning steampunk inspired mini slow stitching kit - stuffed full of rich fabrics and trims in purples, greens and black, offset with hints of antique gold. Why not make a moody textile art picture for yourself, or gift the box to a teenager who wants to start the relaxing art of slow stitching or junk journalling.
Exact items will vary, but each A5 box includes over 30 remnants of vintage or salvaged fabrics and embellishments, including:

Slow stitching is about taking your time to decide where you want to place your fabrics onto the foundation fabric, and then slowly stitching them on. There are no "instructions" as it's about your creativity, but I'll pop in a note with easy ideas and online links to get you started.
Due to their age, vintage or reclaimed items may be marked, discoloured or slightly torn.
