Full description
This is just a stunning image with high impact that I have loved for sometime. The stained glass hanging panel shows the mysterious and elegant figure of a lady sheltering from the rain under her stylish umbrella. Who is she? Is she waiting for someone? Where is she going to? Release your imagination as you gaze at this piece of glass art.
The selection of glass has been carefully chosen with a clear glass showing streaks and bubbles to give the appearance of rain. The textured red glass of the umbrella is continued with matching handbag and shoes. Made with over 30 pieces, there are some tricky shapes that have been hand cut, ground to shape, washed and wrapped in copper foil. The pieces are soldered together and a border of zinc creates a nice frame around the piece. Two hanging loops are soldered on and a black Jack chain attached. The whole piece is cleaned thoroughly before waxing and buffing to a shine.
