A perfect necklace for those born in the month of August or under the star sign Leo.
Carnelian and aventurine are both semi-precious alternatives to Leo's traditional birthstone, peridot.
The green Swarovski crystals, in a colour called 'peridot' stand in for this stone.
Leo is ruled by the Sun and the element Fire, represented by yellow and orange crystals respectively.
As Leo is recognised as the Star of the Zodiac, I have included some gemstone stars of Jade and Aventurine.
In ancient China, Jade was regarded as a symbol of prosperity and good luck.

Beautiful, bright, colourful and sparkly necklace.
The centrepiece is an 18x13mm green aventurine pear-shaped pendant that hangs between a pair of 6mm Swarovski 'fire opal' crystals and a trio of gemstone heart beads - a 9mm green Aventurine heart and two pale green 6mm Jade hearts.
A row of 4mm green Aventurine beads give way to a trio of Swarovski crystals in the colours 'peridot', 'Light topaz' and 'fire opal'.
The necklace continues with alternating rows of burnt orange Carnelian and sage green Aventurine.
The piece is finished with an easy fastening copper leaf toggle clasp.
Pure copper 3mm rounds add extra shine.
This necklace measures approximately 16 inches (41cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
